About Teammates C.R.E.W.

Stage 1

Participants of the C.R.E.W. program begin by developing foundational life and workplace skills through a structured and goal-oriented program. This stage is designed as a one-year progression, with individualized flexibility to extend if necessary.

During this stage, each individual focuses on building essential skills such as personal hygiene, workplace expectations, time management, appropriate use of breaks, and general job readiness. The primary goal is to prepare each individual for advancement into more independent and employment focused opportunities as they demonstrate readiness.

Stage 2

After completing the initial phase of the program, individuals move into a more individualized stage focused on career exploration and skill development. During this time, each teammate follows a personalized plan designed around their strengths, interests, and goals.

This stage is structured to ensure that each individual is fully prepared for the next step. They work on identifying career interests, building job stamina, and strengthening the skills needed for long-term success in the workplace.  Each teammate receives a customized outline of goals and expectations, providing clear guidance and support as they continue progressing toward greater independence and meaningful employment.

Stage 3

During Stage 3, each teammate will work on the skill set provided on the Teammates C.R.E.W. outline to move towards competitive employment. Each teammate will stay within Stage 3 with an outline of 1-4 years unless more time is needed to achieve their ultimate goal of independence and obtaining a competitive employment job. While in this stage, each teammate will work on filling out job applications, mock interviews, real interviews, finding job openings, figuring out their schedule and much more before graduating Stage 4.

Stage 4

Stage 4 supports each individual as they enter and maintain employment. Once placed in a job, clients receive ongoing job coaching and support for as long as needed, whether it is short-term or throughout their entire employment journey. This stage includes on-the-job coaching and skill reinforcement, workplace communication and professionalism, problem solving and conflict resolution, and long-term employment retention and success. Individuals may also explore group opportunities within Teammates which provides additional pathways to independence and community integration!

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at teammatescrew@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

The Teammates C.R.E.W. program will focus on Independent Employability Skills or I.E.S. Throughout the time spent within the Stages 1 and 2, Teammates will help each teammate learn and understand the importance of I.E.S. and gain a better knowledge and skillset to work towards competitive pay and graduating to the two stages closer to employment. Once each teammate has moved up to Stages 3 and 4, Teammates will stop I.E.S. services and work on Supported Employment or S.E. and job coaching. Teammates C.R.E.W. will help each teammate in Stages 3 and 4 gain complete independence by following the outlines including S.E. and Job Coaching so the teammate can not only earn the competitive job they want, but so each individual can keep their job when they have been hired.

Each individual will work on a set of skills and will better themselves within the skillset each person is working towards with the guidance of Teammates Staff. The C.R.E.W. program at teammates will allow each teammate to work towards competitive employment. Prior to starting C.R E.W. each teammate will complete an assessment given by the teammates staff at one of our volunteer sites, so Teammates Center LLC. can help each teammate grow in the areas they need help and expand on the set of skills the teammate already comprehends.
